Commercial license

This license is the written version of the checkout line “No watermark. Commercial use included.” It is between you and Made by Oversight and sits with the Terms of Service.

1. Who this covers

It covers anyone who generates an export from PreviewKit while using the Service, including the free plan for stills and free mockups, and Pro or Lifetime for paid mockups and unlimited MP4. Your employees and contractors may use exports on your behalf. It does not let you share your login or resell the editor.

2. You own your footage

You retain all rights in the screen recordings, images, and other materials you bring into PreviewKit. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

3. You own the export files

When you export an MP4, PNG, JPG, or other file the editor produces from Your Content and our mockup, you own that export file. We do not put a watermark on it. We do not require attribution.

4. Commercial use — allowed

You may use your exports for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, including:

• Framer templates, marketplace listings, and product pages.
• Client work, agencies, and your own products.
• Ads, social posts, pitch decks, and press kits.
• Print, web, and paid media, worldwide, in perpetuity.

You do not owe us royalties on sales that use the export.

5. What you may not do

• Resell, republish, or redistribute our mockup scenes, 3D models, photography, or editor UI as a mockup pack, template pack, or competing mockup tool.
• Extract stills of an empty device just to sell “the MacBook mockup” without your own product on screen.
• Claim you created the device scene or that PreviewKit endorses your product.
• Use exports for unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content — that remains your responsibility.

6. Free vs paid scenes

Stills from free scenes are commercially licensed the same way. Paid scenes and unlimited clean MP4 require an active Pro subscription or Lifetime. If a subscription lapses, you may still use exports you already downloaded. You may not keep generating paid-scene or unlimited MP4 exports until you restore paid access.

7. Third-party content

If your recording includes other people’s UI, trademarks, music, or footage, their rights still apply. This license only covers our mockup and the composite file we help you make. Marketplace rules (Framer, App Store, and others) are theirs, not ours.

8. Term

The license to export files you already generated is perpetual and survives cancellation, refunds after you have the files, and shutdown of the Service. If we refund a purchase within the refund window and you agree to delete paid-plan exports as a condition of that refund, we will say so in the refund email; otherwise you may keep files you already exported.

In practice: if you paid, exported a listing video, and later cancel Pro, that video remains yours to use commercially.
