Terms of Service

Last updated 19 August 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Made by Oversight (“we”, “us”), the operator of PreviewKit (the “Service”). By creating an account, paying for a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Commercial License.

1. The Service

PreviewKit is a browser-based editor that turns screen recordings and stills into device mockups, then exports MP4 video and PNG or JPG images. Features, templates, and quality presets may change as we improve the product.

2. Accounts

You need an account for Pro, Lifetime, and to keep your two free video exports attached to you. You can sign in with Google or email. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16, or the minimum age required in your country to consent to an online service.

Contact us at hello@usepreviewkit.com if you want your account deleted.

3. Free, Pro, and Lifetime

The free plan lets you use a subset of mockups and export stills (PNG/JPG) without a watermark. Clean MP4 is limited on the free plan (currently two exports). Pro unlocks the remaining mockup library and unlimited listing-ready MP4 for as long as the subscription is active. Lifetime is a one-time payment for the same paid features, for as long as PreviewKit operates the Service.

Prices are shown at checkout in USD unless Stripe displays another currency. Taxes may be added where required. Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Manage billing; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Details are in the Refund Policy.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cards are offered where Stripe supports them in your browser and region. Chargebacks and disputes are covered in the Refund Policy — email us first and we will sort it out.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to footage, images, and project files you upload or create (“Your Content”). Projects currently stay in your browser on this device; we do not host your recordings on our servers unless we later offer optional cloud save and you turn it on.

You grant us a limited permission to process Your Content on your device (and, if we add cloud features you opt into, on our servers) solely to provide the Service. You represent that you have the rights to use Your Content in mockups and exports.

6. Exports and commercial use

Exports you generate — including MP4, PNG, and JPG — have no watermark. You may use them commercially, including on Framer templates, marketplaces, client work, ads, and social. The full grant, and what you may not resell, is in the Commercial License.

7. Our intellectual property

The editor, 3D scenes, mockup photography, UI, software, and brand are owned by us or our licensors. Paying for Pro or Lifetime licenses the Service to you; it does not sell you the source files, 3D models, or the right to ship our mockups as your own mockup pack.

8. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service for unlawful, infringing, or deceptive work.
  • Do not attempt to extract, scrape, or redistribute our scene assets.
  • Do not abuse free exports, refunds, or billing to evade payment.
  • Do not attack, overload, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law.

9. Availability and browsers

We aim for the Service to work, but we do not guarantee uptime. Clean MP4 encoding depends on your browser. Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Arc, Brave, and similar) are the intended path for H.264 MP4. Other browsers may fall back to WebM or fail to encode video. That is a platform limit, not a defect we can fully control.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that exports will be accepted by every marketplace or that a specific template sale will occur.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Made by Oversight is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for lost recordings stored only in your browser. Our total liability for a claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for PreviewKit in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the minimum the law requires.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If a change is material, we will try to notice you in the product or by email. Continued use after the update means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel billing.

13. Contact and governing law

Email hello@usepreviewkit.com. These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of PreviewKit is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections in your country still apply. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue, except where consumer law gives you the right to sue where you live.
