Refund Policy

Last updated 19 August 2026

This is the refund and cancellation policy for PreviewKit. It is part of the Terms of Service. If a payment provider or consumer law gives you a stronger right, that right wins.

1. 14-day money-back

You can request a full refund within 14 days of a Pro (monthly or yearly) or Lifetime purchase. Email hello@usepreviewkit.com from the same address as your PreviewKit account. Tell us it is a refund request and, if you can, the last four digits or the Stripe receipt.

We refund through Stripe to the original payment method. It can take several business days to show on your statement. After a refund, paid access is removed. Free stills and the free mockup set still work.

2. What we will not refund

  • Requests after 14 days, except where the law requires it or we choose to as a courtesy.
  • A second refund on the same charge, or repeat subscribe-and-refund patterns we reasonably see as abuse.
  • Chargebacks opened without talking to us first when we were willing to refund. If you already filed a dispute, tell us so we can match it to the Stripe payment and avoid a double payout.

3. Canceling Pro

Cancel a monthly or yearly subscription any time from Manage billing (Stripe Customer Portal) or by emailing hello@usepreviewkit.com. Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid. We do not prorate unused days after the 14-day window unless the law says we must.

Lifetime is not a subscription. After the 14-day window it is not refundable, except where required by law.

4. Failed exports or browser limits

If a paid export fails because of a bug on our side, email us — we would rather fix it or refund than fight a Stripe dispute. MP4 encoding that fails because the browser cannot do H.264 (common outside Chrome and Edge) is a platform limit described in the Terms. Try a Chromium browser first; if you still cannot export, you are in the refund window or we will make it right.

5. Disputes

Please email hello@usepreviewkit.com before filing a chargeback. We keep this policy so we can refund quickly when we should, and so disputes have a written commercial-use and refund story. If a dispute is filed, Stripe may share payment evidence, including these pages.

6. Consumers in the EU/UK

If you are a consumer, you may have a 14-day withdrawal right. For digital services, that right can end once we have fully provided the service after you asked us to start. Checking out is a request to start Pro or Lifetime immediately. You still have the goodwill refund in section 1, which is often simpler. Mandatory consumer law still applies.
